Q. I have a XXL baseball cap that is too big for my head. But I've decided to wear a beanie under it (Very warm & comfortable).Is it normal? Do who does it?

How do you clean a baseball cap without ruining it?
Q. There's makeup smeared all over my baseball cap. Foundation, from where it was rubbing against my forehead. Also, it smells. do i throw it in the washing machine .. or wut do i use to hand wash it?

A. As a Cap/hat wearer myself I do understand... The nasty odor is your sweat from your head/sweat.. The top of your head is like a furnace when covered... Now on how to wash it... Hand wash it over luke warm water with DAWN dish soap...You know that highly concentrated stuff... If you have a washer set that thing on the spindle and select the spin cycle for this will get all the water out... And now grab a towel or crumpled up newspaper and stuff the cap area and let air dry over night... No fooling it dose work Good dat too you. bye

How to Break in a New Baseball Cap?
Q. My son got a new baseball cap today. He has told me it hasn't fit and it feels uncomfortable. I'm sure this is because it is just new. Can this be fixed? How can we get it to fit properly? It came with his baseball uniform, and the hats only come in one size. How do we break it in? Can we cut the mesh out from inside the hat?

A. Step 1 Cut the inside mesh in the front of the hat out. Take scissors and pinch the mesh inside of the hat near the top button. Once the mesh is separated, close the scissors and wiggle them around between the mesh and the hat separating the rest of the mesh. Once it is separated, cut the mesh of the hat out and throw it away. Step 2 Pull out remaining mesh. After you cut the mesh out, there will be some individual strands that are left in the hat. These can poke the top of your head. Pull the remaining pieces out. Step 3 Wash and dry. Include your hat in any load of laundry. This will soften up the fabric and get rid of any remaining loose strands that remain. Step 4 Soak the halo. With warm water, lightly soak the inner halo of the hat.… [cont.]

How do you make a mini baseball cap?
Q. Okay so for health class, I have this egg baby project. I'm supposed to carry around an egg for a week without cracking it or breaking it to simulate parenthood. So me and my partner are making a Justin Bieber egg as a joke, and we want to give it a purple baseball cap. Any ideas on how to make it? Nothing really serious. It doesn't have to look professional. Just so people get the idea. :)

A. You really won't be able to tie it up much at all, will you? So what kind of pattern will you get if you don't tie it up? It will only be solid. Not that interesting. Depending on what is in the visor part, you may find that you will lose the shaping, and it will be quite useless after the dyeing. I think you need to re-think this one... it's not a very good idea. Do you know what tie-dye really is?

A. I wash my hubbies ball caps in cold water and do not put them in the dryer. If you put them in the dryer it shrinks them and the bill of the hat crinkles and looks awful. Just dry the hat by sitting it on top of the dryer or somewhere where it is warm. Hope this works

All electronics unintentionally emits some level of electromagnetic radiation however these levels are normally fairly low. In fact because GPS receivers have to pick up the very weak signals from the orbiting satellites they tend to emit even less than most other electronics. The strength of the emissions measured at your head would probably be no higher from a GPS on your hat than from a computer or monitor on a desk in front of you.
